  • Condition: All trains and buildings have been opened, mostly for display in a custom-built case, and a few have been run. In like-new condition unless noted otherwise. All boxes are intact although some have wear and tear; if there are any rips, I will show them in the pictures.Locomotives and other mechanical items may not be in peak working order; although they were carefully maintained in my father's lifetime, he passed away in 2015.

    This car would be in excellent, lightly-used condition, except the trolley pole on top has broken off. Includes:
    O/O-27 Gauge
    Reverses automatically when each bumper is pushed in

    Includes original box, some wear and rips but totally intact. Windowed boxes of the 70s and 80s often were flimsier than earlier ones.
    This is from my father's collection. A lifelong inhabitant of New York City and an avid Lionel collector since childhood, he kept his collection in excellent shape, in custom-built storage cases and in the original packaging as often as possible. Of course, there is some normal wear and tear but if a piece or its packaging has any damage beyond that, I will include it in the description and/or pictures.
    Our family has selected our favorite pieces and would like to see that the rest go to people or places that will also appreciate them. We have many pieces of Lionel rolling stock, buildings, and equipment as well as various books and ephemera from a happy long life as a railfan.
