    Lionel Stock Certificate Third Vignette 1974 ORANGE
    Offered is an original stock certificate from The Lionel Corporation with the "classical god" vignette, which took the place of the beautiful Lionel train which illustrated these certificates for many years.  There are three different pictures on Lionel certificates, the "old boy" scale hudson (prewar), the "new Boy" Santa Fe diesel (postwar), and the illustration on this certificate, which completes a set.  The certificate I am selling is dated August 28, 1974 100 shares orange and has imprinted signatures of G. Padgett and R. Saypol with a silver bank overprint. It is in excellent with slight wear and vertical folds, with several staple impressions.  It is most attractive.  It would be beautiful when framed with the other two types of Lionel certificates!  This vignette is actually more difficult to find than those with the train illustration.
