    Description

    This auction is for a Marx rare Cape Canaveral set.  A truly special Marx set with track and transformer and original set box.  The set consists of 1798 70T switcher in excellent condition-lubed,tested and runs great, 1799 gondola-excellent condition, X246 chemical rocket fuel tank car-excellent condition, 1796 rocket launcher flat car with two missiles-blue man on platform is missing, the launcher has glue repair on the base (see pic) and the truck sides have experienced the addition of silver paint, and X467 Rocket Computing Center Caboose-excellent condition.  Good track and transformer (not tested).  The set box is strong but has a tear in the cover and also writing on the cover-see pic.
