    Description

    This auction is for a prewar Marx 5926 Army Set.  I believe this set to be from 1938 or 1939.  Set includes a very nice 500 CP Type loco in olive drab.  Loco-serviced, runs and reverses as it should.  Loco has a three piece pickup, tin marker lights, and excellent litho throughout with excellent luster with only a bit of paint loss on the pilot-see pic.   The 500 olive drab Army tender is excellent with nearly perfect litho.  The (572) Field Gun has only minor paint loss.  The (561M) searchlight has excellent cosmetics, a beautiful glass lens, red handle, and worked when tested.  The (558M) Official Car has excellent litho and a working, lighted drumhead.  Good set box with some staining and wear and separation at the corners.  Good track and transformer-not tested.
