Offering a vintage press photograph showing Senator Hiram Johnson in a fantastic fighting stance. Johnson was a Progressive Republican Senator from California. Caption describes how he opposed the re-election of President Hoover in 1932 and was expected to succeed Associate Justice Willis De Vanter as Dean of the Supreme Court. Underwood and Udnerwood press photograph circa 1933. Amazing image!

Condition: This photo has some minor surface creases and some light corner wear and surface staining. Caption sheet has some tears around the edges and the date is partially cut off on the bottom. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
