    Description

    This auction is for a rarely seen and highly desirable Postwar Lionel Corporation Factory Salesman Executive Floaty Mechanical Pencil in Excellent (+) (C7-C8) condition with original box and warranty information. This remarkably preserved mechanical pencil measures approximately 5" in length and is engraved "Lionel Corp." The pencil was manufactured by  Progressive Products Inc. of Union, New Jersey and worked correctly when tested. According to Bob Osterhoff, the pencils were presented to top salesman in the New York City area around 1955. What makes this pencil especially unique is the golden Lionel boxcar floating inside the pencil's sealed chamber.
