    Description

    This auction is for an all original, highly desirable and rarely seen Van Camp's Bean Can With Paper Label Promoting Lionel Set 19142 in overall Excellent (C7) condition. This remarkably preserved (empty) can of beans with its original label still attached measures 4.5" H x 4" W. It features instructions for ordering the Lionel 19142 Van Camp's Bean Set with a deadline of March 1, 1963. The label shows subtle signs of wear but no discoloration, repairs or markings. The inside of the can is dusty and shows subtle signs of oxidation. Carefully examine the detailed photographs provided to affirm condition and bid accordingly.
    The Lionel Stokely-Van Camp promotional freight set no. 19142 (pictured here for reference only) contained a 242 steam loco, 1060T Lionel Lines tender, 3309 turbo missile firing car with turbo missiles, 6406 brown flatcar with yellow auto and gray bumpers, 6050-150 Stokely Van Camp savings bank boxcar, 6067 red unmarked caboose, 1010 35 watt transformer, eight sections curve track, four sections straight track, and a 1103-20 packet complete with all contents and instruction sheets.
