RARE Lionel Milwaukee GP-7 No. 2338 with Orange Cab .........postwar

For your consideration is the
RARE Lionel Milwaukee GP-7 No. 2338 with the ORANGE BAND on the
bottom half of the cab.
100% original postwar.   The
rarity of this engine is due to the ORANGE BAND on the bottom half of the cab as the vast majority of Milwaukee GP-7 have a BLACK cab.
This engine was produced in limited quantities early in 1955.   It has a
translucent orange plastic body
shell
which is painted black except for the outside bottom half of the cab.  The condition of this engine is
better than excellent
as there are no chips or cracks or scratches or rust.   Both ends have
no screw hole
cracks
.  The r
oof vents do not have any worn spots.
The cab logos are in excellent condition with only a few small rubs on 1 side.  The pickup rollers show
minimal track time
.   This engine has been proudly shelf displayed for 25 years in my collection.   Not tested for operation.  No box.   I am TCA  88-28046.
