    Description

    This auction is for an all original, highly desirable and rarely seen 1958 Lionel Executive Factory Production Records in overall Excellent (+) (C7-C8) condition. These original mimeographed pages were distributed at the executive level at Lionel's Corporate Offices and possibly to a small population of individuals elsewhere, such as the factory. This 19-page set of original 8.50" x 11" documents is dated April 17, 1958.  It covers all cataloged production pieces for 1958  including all O27, O and Super "O" sets, locomotives (including those sold in master cartons), transformers, passenger cars, operating cars, freight cars, operating accessories, non-operating accessories (including the 900 series Plasticville line), track & switches for all gauges, separate sale replacement accessories, lamps and dealer displays. Shown are some of the production numbers on one of the pages just to keep you curious.  Did you know that Lionel produced almost 400 miles (2,800,000 pieces) of just O27 straight track in 1958?  Did you know that Lionel only produced 125 of the 4' X 8' Super "O" dealer display D-223?  This is a treasure trove of insider information! The last one listed on eBay sold for 00.
    Each page is 3-hole punched for inclusion in a binder. There are 2 horizontal folds indicating that this set of records was mailed in a business envelope at one time.  Some minor handling and edge wear. This is a very rare document package.  If you appreciate unusual original Lionel paper or are into collecting Lionel corporate/executive information you won't want to pass this up.
