Viana do Castelo Pitcher Portugal COBALT BLUE on White - Handpainted by Madalena

Description

This petite pitcher, handpainted by "Madalena," is 4 1/4" tall. It is 4 1/8" from spout to rim. The base is 2 3/4" in diameter. It holds approximately 20 ozs (2 1/2 cups).
The hand-marking on the base shows a 60 (possibly a size number?), and the numbers 9709-184. The blue is a nice, deep color. There are a couple of scratches in one area/on a stylized flower (see pic 7), only barely visible at a certain angle. There are a very few flea bites in another flower, but I could not capture them in a picture - they held the color and were hard to find.
The glaze is nice and bright. There are no chips, no cracks, no crazing.
