For sale is a lovely little covered jar in blue and gold on white from Vista Alegre, made in Portugal. This is in the Fontainebleau pattern. I think perhaps it is an apothecary jar or maybe even a sugar bowl. It'd be wonderful to display on a desk; to use for small office items, or perhaps on a vanity for cotton balls. It would also make a nice candy dish.
This jar is in very good used condition, with no chips, cracks or crazing. When uncovered, the dish is 2 3/4 inches in diameter and is 3 3/4 inches tall. When covered, it is about 6 inches tall from its base to the finial on the top of its lid.
